Self Defense: Personal Panic Alarms - The Female Self Defense Tool

Of all the self-defense items on the shop today the vast majority of them are geared towards women. That should come as no surprise because women are the targets of violence in nine out of ten cases. Tasers probably get the most publicity. Pepper sprays are the most widely sold self-defense items in the world. But there is a little-respected self-defense item that is extremely effective, especially for female self--defense-the personal panic alarm.

Some people call it a loud noisemaker. Maybe that's a good adequate description. Commonly speaking they are small hand-held battery-operated devices that emit a very loud noise when activated. They are extremely productive at scaring away an assailant and/or drawing concentration to your situation if you should feel threatened.

Self Defense

Imagine you are in a parking lot on the way to your car. A stranger approaches you from behind and scares the living daylights out of you. You warn him to back away, but he keeps approaching. A personal panic alarm, when activated can be heard from as far as 1/4 mile away. If that doesn't scare him, then someone will hear the alarm and come to your assistance.
